Draw-wire sensors

Draw-wire sensors are used to measure and control displacement parameters (speed, distance, position) of an element that moves linearly from an origin point. The unwinding of the measuring cable activates the sensor’s electronics, which in turn produces an electrical signal. This electrical signal is converted into distance and/or speed of movement by a data acquisition system.

To adapt to any application, AK-Industries draw-wire sensors are designed in analog versions (potentiometer, voltage, or current output) and digital versions (incremental or absolute output).

The AK-Industries team will help you define the customized product that best suits your needs!
